Privacy Policy

Laterli provides private messaging with scheduling. We collect only information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information or use private message content for advertising.
Information we process
- Account information, including username, email address, optional profile information, and authentication records.
- Communication metadata needed for delivery, such as participants, timestamps, delivery state, scheduled time, timezone, recurrence, and whether a reply occurred.
- End-to-end encrypted message payloads. Laterli’s servers are not designed to read private message content.
- Device and push-token information used to deliver messages and notifications.
- Safety reports, blocks, security events, and service diagnostics. Reports do not automatically include private message content.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, deliver and schedule messages, synchronize delivery state, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, maintain security, and comply with law. We do not use private messages to create advertising profiles.
Scheduling and notifications
Scheduled messages are stored as encrypted payloads with timing and delivery metadata. Personal reminders to “future you” are stored on your device. You can control notification permissions in your device settings.
Service providers and transfers
Laterli uses service providers including Supabase for backend infrastructure and authentication, Expo for app build, update, and notification infrastructure, and Apple for iOS distribution and optional Sign in with Apple. These providers process limited data under their own security and privacy commitments. Infrastructure may process information outside your country subject to applicable transfer safeguards.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and service data only while needed to provide Laterli, protect the service, or meet legal obligations. You can initiate account deletion from Settings or follow the account deletion instructions. Deletion cancels future scheduled sends and removes or anonymizes associated server data, subject to narrowly limited security, fraud-prevention, backup, and legal retention needs.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may complain to your local data-protection authority. You may manage notifications and blocked users in the app. Contact privacy@laterli.com for privacy requests.
Children
Laterli is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
