Child Safety Standards

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Laterli has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards apply to every user, message, image, voice message, group, profile, and Moment on Laterli.

Prohibited conduct and content

Users must not create, upload, request, share, store, promote, or facilitate child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexual exploitation of minors, or any content that sexualizes or endangers a child. Attempts to solicit minors, normalize abuse, evade safeguards, or direct people to such material are also prohibited.

Reporting in Laterli

Laterli provides in-app reporting and blocking controls. In a conversation, open the conversation menu and choose Report or Block. Reports may include a reason so our safety team can review the concern. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

How Laterli responds

We review safety reports, may preserve relevant account and technical information as legally permitted, restrict or remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and take other steps needed to protect users. When we become aware of apparent CSAM or child exploitation, we report it to the appropriate regional or national authorities or designated reporting organizations as required by applicable law.

Privacy and evidence

Laterli is designed around private communication. We do not weaken encryption or publish private content. Reports and investigations are handled with access limited to what is necessary for safety, legal compliance, and preventing further harm.
